Programming for Network Engineers (PRNE) self-paced course is designed to equip you with fundamental skills in Python programming. You will learn to use Python basics to create useful and practical scripts with Netmiko to retrieve data and configure network devices. Upon completion of this course, you should have a basic understanding of Python, including the knowledge to create, apply, and troubleshoot simple network automation scripts. 

The course qualifies for 24 Cisco Continuing Education credits (CE) towards recertification. 


This course will help you:

  • Create useful and practical scripts to retrieve data and configure network devices

This new Cisco self-paced course is designed to be as effective as classroom training. Course content is presented in easily-consumable segments via both Instructor Video and text. Interactivity is enabled through Discovery Labs, content review questions, and graded Challenge labs and tests. This makes the learning experience hands-on, increasing course effectiveness, and provides students direct feedback on how well they have mastered the material.
