Zero Trust Partner Workshop (ZTWS)
About the course
Prerequisites:
The knowledge and skills that the learner should have before attending this course are as follows:
- Completion of the following courses in Cloudflare University before the workshop:
- Introduction to Cloudflare Zero Trust (101)
- Introduction to Cloudflare Area 1 (101)
General understanding of:
- Network Architecture
- Basic understanding of Anycast, reverse proxies, and VPNs
- IP addressing
- Familiarity with RFC1918 and CIDR notation
- Tunnelling and encapsulation
- Conceptual understanding of how tunneling and encapsulation operate at Lc, L4, and L7
Course Objectives:
Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:
- Articulate the value of Cloudflare Zero Trust solution including Area 1
- Describe the reference architecture
- Demonstrate the capability of the solution (Access, Gateway, Browser Isolation and Area 1)
- Effectively conduct a Proof of Concept (PoC) to showcase the value of the solution
- Effectively onboard a customer on Cloudflare Zero Trust
- Troubleshoot common issues while configuring/deploying the solution
Course content
Day 1
- Welcome and introduction
- Leveraging the Cloudflare partner ecosystem
- Whiteboard: Market dynamics and history, Cloudflare overview
- Whiteboard: Access, Device Posture, Tunnel, WARP Routing
- Troubleshooting Access, Device Posture, and Tunnel
- Hands-on Labs: Access, Device Posture, Tunnel, and WARP Routing
- Troubleshooting WARP, Gateway, and RBI
Day 2
- Whiteboard: Gateway – DNS, Network, and HTTP policies
- Whiteboard: Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) history, Cloudflare’s approach
- Hands-on Labs: Gateway, WARP, RBI
- Advanced troubleshooting and involving support
- Area 1 introduction and deployment modes
- Area 1 Phishing Risk Assessment (PRA)
- Hands-on Labs: Area 1
